Callbak is a narrative development company focused on international co-production. We advocate for premium minimalism, using a streamlined production approach that balances artistry with practicality.
In collaboration with production companies we focus on creating original, high-quality content in a market flooded with formulaic films, audiences are increasingly seeking well-crafted stories that challenges and engages them.
With technology democratised, the rise of AI and film innovation opening new doors, Callbak emphasises the importance of compelling, human-centered narratives over technical spectacle.
Let change shape you.
I am a creative producer and visual storyteller working at the intersection of narrative, production, and cultural strategy. I believe stories drive change, without them we lose track of who we are.
With roots in Sweden and a professional foundation from Sydney, I’ve led productions across borders, blending personal storytelling with social context. My work spans from trauma-informed cinema (Super Rosa, Breathless Films) to strategic communication projects (Skellefteå/Copenhagen initiative). As co-founder of CALLBAK, I focus on developing emotionally resonant films with international appeal.
Past collaborations include Sydney Film Studios, AFTRS, Hogarth, NSW Health etc. My experience ranges from directing and producing to technical support in high-stakes film environments.

Figure out what matters, listen deeper and lead braver.
I believe imagination can take you anywhere — But it's through setting goals and going for them that we experience the power imagination has.
My background as a police inspector in Gothenburg and Stockholm has given me a
grounded understanding of societal systems and the human challenges within them. I've worked and collaborated across boarders where communication, planning and logistics are of highest importances for a safe outcome.
Through these experiences, I've been trained to act and take the lead in uncertain situations, to understand the value of teamwork and every persons worth, and to create safety in environments where people are most vulnerable. — skills I now bring into the world of storytelling and production.
At CALLBAK, I want to help build an environment where people feel seen and empowered. I want to help give voice to stories that are often left untold. I believe those stories can help us understand each other better. I believe our strength lies in daring to speak our hearts, to talk about what scares us, and to trust that love is the winner over hate, in every person.

I believe in you.
Since childhood I’ve been glued to the window of many possibilities, or as we call it, the television screen, the silver screen. From the get go I understood that what’s being displayed is not real, which made me abandon traditional kids entertainment, & was since then much more fascinated of mature storytelling.
I aspire to create profound visual & auditory spectacles that’ll make sure to blow people’s minds. Intricate stories with levels of depth within both its intrigue & its characters, while trying to define reality & what it means to exist within it.
Always had an innate desire to tell stories, even if they were perceived as lies.

You may be somebodies light.
A director, writer and editor with seven years experience creating music videos, commercials, short films and one indie feature.
His strength lies in bridging the gap between the abstract and concrete through compelling yet highly executable visions. The small, dynamic field between creativity and analysis is where he has the most fun.
A part from developing strong intellectual properties, he is the market analyzer at Callbak Films. Having studied literature and marketing at university, he makes sure we focus on telling the most relevant, authentic, moving stories audiences need right now.
Keep going.
Movies have always been a way for me to connect to people.
Growing up with autism, I struggled to communicate with others. Movies became a way for me to learn about “conversation,” as they depict real life issues. They helped me navigate feelings of confusion, sadness, and fear. I aspire to impact people through film, just as it has impacted me.
During my time at Sydney Film School I was nominated for Best Screenplay and Best Director twice, winning the Best Director award once. My biggest and proudest achievement was being selected for the Talent to Watch program alongside six other participants from 2021 to 2022. This competition, made possible by the Swedish Film Institute, aimed to discover new talents.
In Sweden, I have worked on films such as the Guldbagge Award-winning “Trädgårdsgatan/Garden Lane” and have worked as an assistant to line producer Thomas Nilsson throughout the entire production of the world renowned fourth season of “The Bridge.”
I believe I can offer a unique perspective as a screenwriter by drawing on the emotionally charged experiences from my upbringing, which can help others convey and manage emotions more effectively in their own scripts.
